Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of Yoga with postures held for long periods of time with the intention of reaching the deeper connective tissues of the body – fascia, ligaments and tendons – with the aim of increasing strength, circulation, energy flow and flexibility within the joints. As our physical tensions melt away, so do our emotional and mental tensions, and this style of Yoga can lead us towards a deep Inner Stillness, and a greater sense of connection to ourselves. It truly has a meditative quality.
The sessions are accompanied by some great chilled-out tunes to help ease you into the rest of your day!
I run both weekly and monthly Yin Yoga sessions, on a pre-booked and a drop-in basis respectively.
Weekly pre-booked Yin Yoga/Gong Bath sessions are held at Cobblestones every Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 2:00pm – 3:30pm.
Wednesday evening Simply Yin Yoga from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Space is limited to eight students and places must therefore be confirmed in advance.
Monthly pre-booked Yin Yoga/Gong Bath sessions are held at Cobblestones, usually on the first Saturday of every month from 10:00am – 11:30pm. Space is limited to eight students and places must therefore be confirmed in advance. Please note the change of venue and time!
